INCLUSIVE THEATRE LABORATORY ‘HORMIGA’

Hormiga is an artistic and social project created by the Hilo Rojo Teatro theatre company and the Pantagruel Association, in collaboration with the DISTRA Project of the Valentín de Madariaga Foundation. Its aim is to create an inclusive theatre group and it is aimed at people with and without disabilities, particularly those who believe in theatre as a tool for social change (students from the Higher School of Dramatic Art, Education Sciences and Teacher Training, enthusiasts, etc.). Hormiga seeks to create a space where everyone can explore their talents and potential, working with their body, voice and imagination. The theatre workshop is an important means of social and personal integration and growth, aimed at developing autonomy and interpersonal skills. The project will culminate in a theatrical performance. Ants are social creatures that collaborate with one another to live peacefully and efficiently.
