PETER AND THE WOLF
A musical storytelling session in which the actors will narrate the story of ‘Peter and the Wolf’, accompanied by the music from the work, whilst also introducing the young audience to the musical instruments featured in the piece. Listening to a selection of musical pieces will alternate with moments of narration. A brief introduction will provide the audience with interesting facts and information about the work, the composer and the author. An entertaining way to spark young audiences’ interest in classical music and literature. Attendees will discover the instruments that make up an orchestra, learn interesting facts about opera and classical music, and get to know this meaningful musical story. The storytelling session is aimed at children aged 3 to 8.
