THE MAGIC FLUTE
A theatrical, musical and interactive performance in which a resourceful stage manager (the actress) and an eccentric conductor (the actor) will introduce young audiences to opera, theatre and the works of W. A. Mozart. Accompanied by the music of ‘The Magic Flute’, they will alternate between moments of storytelling, listening to selected arias, and interactive segments where the pupils themselves take centre stage, allowing them to enjoy a fun, first-hand experience of opera and the stage. The young audience will also be introduced to the musical instruments featured in the opera and learn interesting facts about the life and work of W. A. Mozart. An engaging way to spark an interest in classical music and opera among young audiences. The activity is aimed at children aged 7 to 11.
