eyond the Mask is a didactic show aimed at families of all ages that introduces the Commedia dell’Arte in a fun and interactive way. Through scenes based on canovacci, the performers bring to life the historical and cultural context of the 16th and 17th centuries, to which the characters belong. The show also explores how actresses, actors, and theater companies of that era lived among royal courts and palaces. The audience takes center stage and participates firsthand, physically experiencing the creation of the characters and getting a hands-on feel for the actor’s craft.
